Status: awaiting Mozilla review. It is not installable from Firefox Add-ons yet. Its Firefox Add-ons page will show an install button once Mozilla approves it.
What it does
- Open a page in Firefox, click the toolbar button, choose "a price" or "a stock message", then click the element on the page. That is the watch. Firefox asks you to allow that one site.
- Set an "alert at or under" number for prices. For stock messages you are told when the out-of-stock message goes away.
- Checks run at the interval you pick, at least every 15 minutes, while Firefox is open. Notifications open the page when clicked.
- Each watch keeps a price history on your computer, which you can download as a CSV.
- One request per page per check, no logins, no crawling; nothing leaves your browser except the page request itself.
Limits
- It reads the page as the site sends it. A price that a site draws with JavaScript after loading cannot be watched.
- Pages that need you to log in are not supported.
- Check each site terms for automated page loads before you rely on it. You choose the pages and the interval.
Free, and what is planned
It is free. Everything works today, including the threshold alert and the CSV. The only limit is 10 watches.
A paid licence is planned, not on sale: an annual licence key, price not final, that would lift the 10-watch limit. Nothing requires payment today, nothing is charged or collected, and there is no checkout on this page.
Privacy
The add-on collects no data. Your watches and history stay in your browser. The only requests are to the pages you chose to watch.
Not affiliated with any shop or site you watch.
